Green Tahini Dressing


  • 1 jalapeno, seeds removed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup roughly chopped chives or cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 cup water


  1. In a food processor, combine all the ingredient and puree until smooth. Add more water as necessary so the texture resembles a creamy ranch dressing. Serve alongside quinoa salad, fresh fish, or grilled meats.

    I am going to make that green tahini IMMEDIATELY. But I don’t keep a jalapeno on hand generally – is sriracha ok? (I know the color’s all wrong)

    Yum! I make something similar to this using miso paste instead of sea salt :~)
