As much as I love teaching small groups privately in peoples’ homes, it was one of my goals for this year to figure out how to do it on a slightly larger scale, so I could help more of you figure out how to make home cooking a more sustainable part of your every day lives.
So when Mind Body Green approached me about putting together a course, I was psyched. I brought the content and creativity, and they helped bring it all to life on the screen in a practical, easy-to-use teaching program.
The course I created is all about how to become the master of your home kitchen. For those of you who think it’s impossible to prepare clean, delicious meals that are both easy AND affordable, I’m going to be your beacon of kitchen hope and say yes, we can.
All you need are some basic skills and a better game plan. I’ll talk about shopping and prepping, from tackling the market to making sure your pantry is set up for chef-like success. We’ll go over essential knife skills, batch-cooking strategies (the idea behind my Farmer’s Market Challenge series) and expert meal-making techniques. And then we’ll talk about how to make the cooking habit stick (hint: it has a little something to do with having FUN.)
As you know, I am not always perfect in my quest to cook homemade meals and forgo the convenient allure of Seamless Web. But one of the missions of my year of wellness was to apply some of the tricks I’ve learned as a professional chef to my own busy, hectic life. And I promise that if I can learn to be my own private chef, you can too.
I hope you will roll up your sleeves with me and check out my course How To Make Healthy & Delicious Meals On A Budget & In A Time-Crunch. It also comes with a 4-week meal plan of 20 clean and easy make ahead recipes! I’ve spent this year giving you my wellness tips and prototyping a lot of these healthy recipes right here on the site, so I’m excited to now be able to show you how to put it all together.
With lots of skillet love,
