Some highlights from the week:
Tuesday – I made a delicious Steak Teriyaki for my clients this week – definitely something I’ll have to reinvent for the blog, using a slightly less expensive cut of meat. The kids love their filet!
Wednesday – I had some leftover roasted fingerlings from The Meatball Shop and some sausage and arugula from dinner last Friday. Together with a fried egg, they became the best ever weekday lunch. I also dug into some half-eaten artichoke dip from my recipe development project. #leftoverlove
Thursday – As I mentioned in last week’s newsletter, I wanted to make an edible gift for my friend Keith to thank him for all his labor and brawn in installing my urbio indoor garden. Since he was jetting off to Aruba with his family, I landed on a tropical trail mix with coconut, mango, and ginger. Stay tuned for the recipe!
Friday – I jetted off to CT for my family’s business’ 50th anniversary party. I wore my new dress from my uber talented designer BFF, Jordana of Novis. It was the first time I’d worn butterflies since prom night. #lessawkwardwithage.
Saturday – After the party I spent the night in Westchester and woke up to some serious snow. Isn’t it supposed to be spring?
What did you cook this weekend? Let me know in comments!
