I am currently flying the friendly skies en route to Portland for my first event of the book tour.
Since it’s in the air that I do my best crying, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to share some gratitude from launch week, and also make it official in case you didn’t get my 500 memos on social media: The Wellness Project is HERE!
I obviously intended to make that announcement two days ago, but I underestimating the amount of love and number of book selfies that would rush in the morning of the 16th. It truly took me by surprise. As did the emotional overwhelm. It’s been surreal and humbling and deeply touching to receive your feedback and watch this creature I created curl up with you in your most flattering grey sweatpants on the couch.
I’ve been trying to soak it all in.
But that said, there’s already so much I want to share!!
First, my uber talented friend Kristin Kremers helped me shoot this fabulous book trailer at the 11th hour. Seriously, the script was written, shot and edited in a whirlwind 3 days, and yet it turned out amazing. I hope you’ll share it with your #HashiPosse!
Second, I’ve shared a few easy ways below that you can help support the launch, more on my book tour, which is constantly being updating with festivities (PDX and Seattle, you’re first!), and a smattering of nice things people are saying about the book in case you’re not yet convinced it’s for you.
Lastly, if you haven’t yet gotten your copy, and I’ve managed to twist your arm into doing so, you can purchase at the below retailers (and hopefully everywhere else that books are sold!):
Amazon / Barnes and Noble / BAM IndieBound / iTunes / McNally Jackson
It takes a village to tell a story and get it out in the world. So please know how grateful I am for everything you’ve done to get me here. I can’t wait to toast with kombucha and raw gingerbread cookie bites in your cities very soon!
Wishing you a lifetime of health and hedonism,
Xoxo
Phoebe
Ways You Can Spread the Word
1. Write an Amazon Review. This is HUGE in the first week of sales. I’d love you to take a minute to leave your thoughts. Oh, and 5 stars would be grand!
2. Share on social. I’ll be announcing a very special giveaway next week with Wolf Gourmet (valued at $1,000!!!). All you have to do to enter is share a picture of the book, a recipe you’ve made from it, or an anecdote about how it’s inspired your wellness journey on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook and use the hashtag #TheWellnessProjectBook. You can get a head start on that NOW!
3. Start your own challenge. Any self-improvement that comes as a result of this book is far more powerful than anything shared on social media. I want you to go wear your wellness out in the world. If you’re looking for more inspiration and accountability, I hope you’ll join the #4WeeksToWellness Challenge! I put together a little e-Book for my launch team with sample experiments from the book. It was a huge success in getting them to make small, sustainable changes and prioritize themselves. I hope you’ll join me for round two!

“As a practicing physician focused on how nutrition, prevention and wellness factor into today’s cutting edge medicine, I’m constantly urging my patients to consider how the small daily choices we make impact our bodies. Like so many people with chronic conditions, Phoebe discovered that true healing begins with food. But through her year-long odyssey, she illustrates that our wellness is made up of so much more—the products we use, our daily movements, and how we tame stress out in the world. The Wellness Project is a must-read for anyone wondering how all these pieces fit together, and ready to tackle them in their own life.”
—Robin Berzin, MD, CEO and founder of Parsley Health
