Homemade Teriyaki Marinade

This homemade teriyaki marinade is an easy, vegan, gluten-free recipe, perfect for a large group. The teriyaki sauce also tastes great with chicken skewers and pork tenderloin.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup organic maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup gluten-free tamari
  • 2 large garlic cloves minced
  • 2 inches fresh ginger root

Instructions

  • In a small food processor, puree the maple syrup, tamari, garlic, and ginger until smooth. Alternatively, you can mince the ginger and garlic by hand and whisk in the remaining ingredients.
  • Store in an airtight container until ready to marinate your meat or fish. This recipe goes perfectly with pork tenderloin.
