Dairy-Free Ranch Dressing

This dairy-free ranch dressing is made with coconut yogurt and an easy dried herb seasoning mix. It tastes just like classic Hidden Valley but is egg-free and lactose-free. If you’re looking for a gluten-free ranch dip, it’s perfect for any party bowl, especially alongside gluten-free buffalo wings! If you omit the garlic and onion powder, this can also be a low FODMAP dressing.

Ingredients

For the gluten-free ranch seasoning mix:

  • 1 tablespoon dried chives
  • 2 teaspoons dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

For the dairy-free dressing:

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the gluten-free seasoning mix: chives, dill, garlic and onion powder, and salt until well-combined. You have the option to store the blend for later!
  • To make the dressing, add the lactose-free yogurt, vinegar and 2 tablespoons of water to the bowl and mix until fully blended. Add more water, one tablespoon at a time, if needed, to reach your desired consistency. Taste for seasoning and add more salt as necessary.
  • Store the dairy-free dressing for up to 2 weeks in a glass jar in the refrigerator or use it immediately as a gluten-free ranch dip alongside crudites.
